Take my advice, type up a bunch of posts, and then schedule them to go on auto. If you don’t, you’ll lose readers because you aren’t giving them anything new. The last time I posted on this blog was the 18th. That is ludicrous. Insane, actually. But sometimes, life happens.
And when life smacks you, you have to be ready. It is my goal to post on this site each and every single day. Well, at least five days per week. I’ve been slacking, but not because I wanted to. I have a ton of stuff that I want to share with you. But sometimes life happens.
And the only real way to combat this, is to have stuff already typed up and ready to go. This is something that I need help on. In the very near future, it won’t be that big of a problem because I plan to have some help posting. But until that day comes, the only option is for me to schedule my posts.
Some of the marketing gurus don’t like to schedule posts. They like the whole “hear and now” thing. Boo.
That is silly to me. Think about it like this, would you rather have a happy reader who is able to find what they are looking for? Or, would you rather lose someone because you haven’t posted in five days?
The choice is yours, and I know what I choose. I’m going to start bolstering up my content so that it is on auto pilot. If I am able to post something else that day, then great. I can cancel the other one and put it out there for another day.
But, if something happens, at least I can rest assured that my readers are getting something. What is your take on this?
